- Some of the Maths goals I have proven 
Recall groupings within 1,000
Know how to order decimals to three places 

I chose these ones because:
I had some gaps I wanted to highlite and I wanted to go into Stage 7 within Grouping/Place value. 

For the last  week I have been working very hard on Proving lots of Maths goals.

For (E.G) 2 goals I worked on were:
Recall groupings within 1,000
- Know how to order decimals to three places

These goals were a fun challenge for me.
I also chose these goals because I had some gaps that I wanted to highlight and I wanted to get into Stage 7 within Groupings/ Place Value.

I am close to finishing my whole math goal sheet and that is big achievement for me.
It i nearly the end of Term 3 and for next term I want to keep achieving Math goals untile I finish the sheet.
As well as wanting to achieve more Math goals next term I am also looking at working on achieving lots of my Writing goals as well.

For this immersion I was with Max.
In the group we worked on research on Tiffiny Sing, we also worked on finding pictures that related to Hobsonville Point and HPPS to use as silowets.

For me the best class was N.O 3. That was the class when we wrote a small caption about how the picture relats to HPPS or Hobsonville Point.

On an Adventure

For a while I have been reading Harry Potter 2 (Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets)
and I think it is a great read.

So far one of  my favorite characters is a house elf called Dobby. I like Dobby because he is a funny character and he is sort of a trickster.

Harry potter for me is all about mystery  and adventure

Creativity Immersion with Emma/Liv

Creativity Immersion with Emma/Liv

Fir the first class out of 3 in this group rotation I was away, but for the 2nd one we worked on the school values and signage. This was a  bit boring but full of teamwork at the same time.

In the second class we were looking at Artists and their art, then after we got into groups and made a piece of Art inspired by the artist we were looking at.

This may not be the Project for me, but I still enjoyed it and learnt some new things.

Bruson Mason Theater

Bruson Mason theater

Yesterday on the 19/09/17 LC7,LC2 and LC4 all went on a school trip to the Bruson Mason theater.

All up there we about 6 buses to take us there (2 buses and 2 bendy buses witch is 2 buses in one).

When we arived, we all hopped off and entered a big building called the Bruson Mason theater.
This theater runs big shows like Mitilder.

We all sat down in the entrance and one of the manigers talked to us about what was going to happen.

The first W/S we went on was an acting one I a big theater room. We made a play for the other group. The play was about witches that were going to eat a child and a group of kids sneak to save him/her but they are cort.

It was so fun!

The next secion was on sound and 2 people made an short act to show how you can make and use sound more efectivelly.

The very last W/S was baced on dance and movement. The lady running it had a commpony that helped people wit h bisabillitys dance. Because of this she had a robot called NINEBOT!

After the dance thing I asked her if it was a good miceanfor Arthritis and she let me have a goon it.

Multiplication and Division with Chris

For a little while now I have been in a Multiplication and Division workshop with Chris.
We are starting to learn to Divide in big numders and we have been working on Multiplying big numders.

This is a callenging W/S for me, but I still fell like i'm learning new things.

I like working in this W/S because Chris gives me help when I need it in the W/S and if I need help with the F/U.

My next step in this W/S would be to find a stratigy that works for me and then start improving in that area of math skills.

Immersion with playground fun

Immersion with playground fun 

For the last 3 session's I have been in an Immersion with Chris.
In this group we went to the park to write down everything that could be improved. In the 2nd session we did  a survey to see what people would like.  In the last session we Graphed out our information and then drew our dream playground.


Over all I think this was a cool immersion, but at the end I don't think I will want to do this one.

Multiplication and Division with Amy

Multiplication and Division

For my maths workshops I am in one lead by Chris.
In this group we work on Multiplication and Division.

In the last workshop we had to buddy up and work out two questions together, then show the rest of the class what our strategy was.

I found the follow up questions a challenge, but I got some help, so after I understanded it.

Setting a challenge

For this week (week 8) I have set myself very high goals to try and achive.

Maths: Prove 2 maths goals and practice 6 and 7 times tables
Writing: Write 3 blog posts and prove 2 writing goals
Disposition: Talk confidently with  teachers and students

I think these goals will be hard to achive but I do not dought that I can do it anyway.

The purpose of me setting these goals is to fell like I have achived lots and to keep trying even when it get's difficult.

Dance and Drama Immersion

Dance and Drama Immersion

For this term's  immersion we are working on CREATIVITY.

I am in Jess and Sarahs group first and their doing Dance and Drama.
I like how we have to work together and get to watch inspiring videos about dances.
A challenge  in dance is making shapes with your body for me.

For the first sesion out of 3 we were down in the gym working on emotions and Drama, there were interesting game, but i did not joing because I don't like standing infront of peope.

In the 2nd seion Sarah was doing Dance. We manily worked on making out body into shapes. This was a fun task for me to try and do.

We are doing the next secion soon  and I cant wait to see what other teachers are doing within Creativity!

Adventure park trip

Adventure park trip!

Last week me and LC7 went on a school trip to ADVENTURE PARK.
There were lots of cool rides there like: the luge, 5D movie room, a moving spaceship and more.

My favourite part was having fun with my friends and trying the 5D movie room with all my teachers.

I think Adventure park is a good way to spend time with the class and learn at the same time.

I like how I had a go one the Dounute slide and helped Radha with her first time on the luge.

This was an exiting experience for me and I didn't think you could go to a Adventure Park and learn at the same time.
